Baccarat is one of the best known casino table games; yet so many gamblers shy away from it because it is falsely considered too complicated. Thankfully there’s plenty of free versions around now, so you can practise as much as you want. This Version is from Espresso gaming and can be enjoyed within your internet browser without needing to download any additional software.
How to play Baccarat
Each game begins by choosing a bet from the chip stack. You can choose any combination from the chips supplied. These include 1, 5, 10, 25 or 100 Dollar chips; just click on them and then bet on the Bankers hand, players hand or a tie.
The next stage sees two cards dealt to the player and banker with the winner being the closest to totalling nine. The key here is each card value; the numbered cards have the same value but the face cards are zero rated. If a pair of cards has a higher total than 9, 10 will be automatically subtracted. At this stage if a win is possible it will be paid, and if not a third card is issued.
Odds depend on who you bet on with a player win paying 1:1, dealer win paying 19:20 and a draw paying 8:1.
