CLOSED - World Cup Predictions Contest

The soccer World Cup kicks off a week from today and we decided to make it a bit more exciting for all LCBers with an entertaining predictions competition. Yes, there are prizes to be won! :)

How it works

• • Before the first match of the day kicks off you can post your predictions in this topic. Example: Brazil vs Croatia 2-1. If Brazil wins you get 5 chips, if the score is also correct you get another 10 chips.
  
• • The daily chips will be added to your overall tournament points and if you are among the top three at the end of the World Cup you will get one of the tournament prizes listed below.
  
• • LCB staff members can take part in this competition but just for fun, no loyalty chips awarded.
  

Daily prizes

• • Correct result (win, draw, lose): 5 loyalty chips ( $0.5 cents )
  
• • Correct score: 10 loyalty chips ( $1 dollar )
  
• • Bonus for correct score of all matches of the day: 30 loyalty chips ( $3) - only for days with 2 or more matches.
  

Tournament prizes

• • 1st place: 500 loyalty chips ( $50 )
  
• • 2nd place 250 loyalty chips ( $25 )
  
• • 3rd place 150 loyalty chips ( $15 )
  

The first match of the tournament will be Brazil v Croatia on June 12th, you can start posting your predictions!

Given that we ( Serbia ) barely lost 1-0 to them last week in a friendly match ( where we were the better opponent in the 1st half when we could of / should of scored at least twice ) and given that Croats have a pretty good team, my prediction is 2-2 .
