Cam Newton was in top shape again as he threw a career-high five touchdowns passes. The game will be very important  for Green Bay Packers who lost 4 of their last 5 games and felling the hit in their back from the other teams who pursuit playoff spot in the NFC. Detroit Lions won 3 in a row after 1-7 start so they improved big in the last weeks. Very tough to predict but I think the Packers have to throw everything and win that one or it could be a disastrous season for them.

I think this will be a very tough match. Two weeks ago the Cheeseheads have lost to the Lions at home. In that time the Lions were winless. At nowadays they are in good form (have won 3 in a row), and the Stafford-Johnson pair is back on track. The home side's defense are getting better so Eddie Lacy will have hard time tonight. I think Detroit are in better position but I have no exact pick on this match.

The Green Bay Packers got back to winning ways with a 27-23 triumph at the Detroit Lions on Thursday. Aaron Rodgers was the hero once again, he threw a 61-yard touchdown pass to Richard Rodgers as time ran out and clinched it for the Packers. Rodgers finished 24 of 36 for 289 yards with two touchdowns. The result snapped a three-game winning streak for the Lions.

The standings looking quite funny in the NFC East with all  the teams with negative record! But they'll have to hope of Romo's return and I don't know how if that will be possible.

The Vikings were totally outplayed last week at home  against Seattle so I don't think this will be much easier game for them against the best offence in the league so far. Minnesota leaded NFC North a week ago but if they wish to top the division in the end they have to play much better and win against the better teams in the league but they were defeated by Green Bay and Seattle at home so I don't believe it will be much different in that one.
