Here are the instructions, but I’ll also be uploading a full length tutorial on my a YouTube channel soon, so make sure you’re subscribed for that!

To start, you’ll want to gather lots of beautiful dried florals - grasses, blooms, leaves, etc.

Cut a piece of sturdy twine the length of your garland. This will be the “backbone.” Gather a bundle of flora and tie into the end of the twine very tightly with a double knot. Gather another bundle and layer on top of the other, tying onto the “backbone” piece with a separate pice of twine. Continue doing this until you reach the middle, then start again going up the other side.

Once you reach the middle, create a bundle that goes both directions, and again se Dried Floral Garland, Dried Flower Garland, Dried Florals, Double Knot, Start Again, Floral Garland, Dried Floral, Grasses, The Other Side

Dipping your leaves in beeswax will help to preserve the color and you can use both fresh leaves and leaves that have been pressed. They keep well and can be stored over multiple years— some of the leaves in our current collection are more than 5 years old and they still look great. This is a great follow up project to the last two I shared— it’s a great way to use remaining beeswax after making hand-dipped candles and is how I preserve leaves after displaying them in nature weavings. I like to clip these onto a garland or onto string lights! Materials: leaves (pressed or fresh), beeswax, metal bowl, sauce pan, parchment paper, t Pressed Leaf Crafts, Preserve Leaves, Autumn Leaf Garland, Wax Crafts, Bio Materials, Dipped Candles, Hand Dipped Candles, Paper Twine, Types Of Wax
