Many years ago I discovered the art of needle felting. When you needle felt, you stab wool fiber repeatedly with a very sharp, barbed needle. The barbs of the needle felt the wool into shapes and thus you can sculpt it!

Paolo Puck is a self-taught British artist creating whimsical needle-felted wool artworks that explore topics relating to beauty and ugliness. He uses his sculpture as a way to explore the point at which one becomes the other.
