FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) — If you're planning to grill some hot dogs for the Independence Day holiday, a lot of people have the same idea.
According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, Americans are expected to eat 150 million hot dogs this Fourth of July holiday.
Last year people spent about two and a half billion dollars on hot dogs.
10% of annual sales happen in July, which is why its designated National Hot Dog month.
These are the 2015 top hot dog eating cities, according to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council:

4. Philadelphia
