Privately held company facts for kids
A Privately held company is owned by private entity (or persons) . This means that the company is owned by its founders, management, or a group of private investors. Privately held companies does not sells its shares on a stock exchange.
In most of the cases, privately held companies are small family firms, or companies that are jointly owned by a small group of people.
