Abstract:	[Dt.:] Die Website bietet Informationen über die niederländischen Ausgrabungen der Neuen Reichs-Nekropole von Saqqara, Hintergrundinformationen (beispielsweise zur Geschichte des Bezirks und seiner Gräber) sowie weitere interessante Inhalte über die frühe Erforschung von Saqqara, die niederländische Ägyptologie, die Kurzbeschreibung von verschiedenen Ägyptologen mit Bezug zu Saqqara und einen Zugang für Mitglieder der "Foundation". Diese "Stiftung der Freunde von Saqqara" ist eine gemeinnützige Stiftung mit dem Ziel, die finanzielle Unterstützung für die Grabungen der niederländlischen Ausgrabungen zu sichern. - [Engl.:] This website offers information on the Dutch excavations of the New Kingdom necropolis at Saqqara, background documentation (for example about the history of the necropolis of Saqqara and its tombs) and further information about early exploration of Saqqara, Dutch Egyptology, profiles of Egyptologists in connection with Saqqara, and of course a section for its members. The "Friends of Saqqara Foundation" is a non-profit foundation aiming at providing financial support for Dutch archaeological research at Saqqara.
