What is ResNet?
ResNet is a free service for on campus residential students providing technical and networking support.
Free Services
Did you know residential (on-campus) students and staff get free Xfinity/Max (Formerly HBO Max) streaming and computer repair services? Some more services we provide are listed below:
Answer quick technical questions over the phone or via email | Assist with connecting devices to campus networks |
Troubleshoot network connections | Enroll gaming and smart devices on the network |
Diagnose and fix software issues | Assist with removing copyrighted material after a DMCA violation |
Troubleshoot Xfinity On Campus service |
Scan and remove viruses and malware |
Perform device maintenance and upgrades |

Where is ResNet offered?
The Residential Network is offered both wirelessly and wired via Ethernet ports in student rooms depending on location.
Wireless Access
All Residential locations not listed below have wireless internet access. Routers are not permitted in wireless only locations and ethernet ports will not work.
Wired Access
In locations listed below there is no wireless access. Wireless ResNet (ResWiFi) is offered as a supplemental service in the hallways and lounges of marked locations. Please note that there is only one working ethernet port per room and it may be hidden behind furniture. Students in these locations may obtain a wireless router.

Rachel Carson College ResNet OfficeDirections1. Take any loop or city bus towards the Rachel Carson College bus stop.
2. Proceed to walk towards the Rachel Carson College Dining Hall.
3. Before going down the first set of stairs, turn right and head down the hall to Room 258.
