School design concept

Aiko Educational Institution is a comprehensive preparatory school for junior high and high school levels, administered by the Catholic Order of Preachers. The school’s foundational ethos, encapsulated in the phrase “We Believe,” is deeply rooted in the aspiration for each student to evolve into an “internationally educated individual” and an “ambassador of love and enlightenment.” Throughout its history, the school has nurtured numerous alums who have excelled in many fields worldwide.

The Out School is an attempt to explore a new design vocabulary for pre-primary schools. The aesthetics, spatial planning and the architectural detailing is a direct response to the constraints that revolved around this project.

Remember that sweet childhood memory of spending summer afternoons in the treehouse playing pretend games with your friends? Something I believe everyone has been a part of is the classroom game where you set up a mini chalkboard and have a little class with your friends but we obviously loved that more than real school
