The article examines the environmental problems arising from the intensive development of mountai... more The article examines the environmental problems arising from the intensive development of mountain-steppe landscapes with a total area of 141 thousand km2 on the northeastern slope of the Greater Caucasus and the most suitable soils for farming in our Republic, in particular for fruit growing and vegetable growing. At the same time, such objects as residential areas, arable lands, road infrastructures, tourism objects, poultry farms, etc., which influence the development of separate landscape types, were studied separately. They also studied their area in separability and making up a percentage of the general view of the landscape and the effect on soil and vegetation cover, which are the main components of the landscape. Each of these environmental problems arising as a result of such influences was investigated and action plans were prepared to prevent soil erosion and the process of vegetation degradation. Along with this, the replacement of natural landscapes with residential and anthropogenic landscapes and the influence of these processes on the stability of the landscape have been studied. All studies conducted in the article were analyzed in the GİS environment and used on Landsat 8 satellite imagery.
The activation of such processes as landslides, landslides, erosion, etc., which determine the stress of the ecological state in the studied landscapes, is also analyzed. Given all this, in order to prevent such negative processes, the abovementioned provides comprehensive information about advancing events.

The statues have been investigated by the technogenetic properties of the processed mineralizatio... more The statues have been investigated by the technogenetic properties of the processed mineralization of the Dashkesan district. This region is the largest ore-bearing deposits in Azerbaijan. Extraction of underground resources has led to a complete change in the landscape of adjacent territories. Therefore, the study and restoration of these areas is very important for our republic. On the basis of the chamber and semantic surveys, the basic centers of the technogenic ecosystem separation of the Dashkesan district are defined. To study the degree of change in these ecosystems, it is important to take samples from soil and vegetation, including hydrological sources. From the results of the samples taken, it is clear that the natural landscapes are completely transformed. The soil and vegetation that are present here have lost their original state, and the watersheds have become extremely polluted. One of the most important issues is preventing wastewater discharges here. However, it is very important to carry out remediation work in order to restore the former landscape. Iron ore deposits are located in the south and northwest Dashkesen deposit. The Zeylik deposits are Bogotá with Alunites, and Chovdar with golds. Only in Chovdar gold is mined using the mine method. Therefore, natural landscapes have not changed around this field. But the natural landscapes have completely changed around other deposits. To restore technogenic landscapes, special attention must be paid to the restoration of their basic elements. The state itself is interested in restoring these landscapes, and the president issued a decree on their return. The results were compared with the amount of appropriate elements in the regional background. The toxic microelements in the composition of master of laboratory analysis increase and useful microelements decrease in both regions. In order to prevent the tension ecological situation some proposals were offered. The absence of physical physically property in the area indicates the potential for technical and biological recultivation. Take care of all this, it is important to identify and optimize the ecological situation in the district. The main purpose of this work is the replacement of technogenic relief by the agro-cultural landscapes.

Strong development of transport and industry is a major factor in the deterioration of the environmental situation in the city and surrounding areas. From this point of view, the topic we have studied is also very relevant. We have analyzed the current situation of the city of Imishli, located in the central arid area of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Mil plain, on the basis of modern technologies and have studied the previous situation on the basis of funds and literature, then have compared all the results. The factors affecting the environment in the city have been comprehensively analyzed. Density of constructions, population dynamics, the relationship between population growth and area expansion, the dynamics of vegetation cover, the impact of industrial and agricultural enterprises, transport on the atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere were studied.

The structural-genetic characteristics of landscapes have an important role in the formation of l... more The structural-genetic characteristics of landscapes have an important role in the formation of landscapes, the spread of agrocomplexes, the assimilation of landscapes and other directions. At present, these studies are conducted using modern methods, based on the processing of satellite images with the help of Geographical Information Systems. We also applied this practice for the first time in our country. In this regard, our research is relevant. Our goal is to determine the future development trends of landscape use by studying the structural-genetic characteristics of landscapes with modern methods. As a result of the analysis of the structural-genetic characteristics and morphometric elements of the modern natural landscapes in the studied area, three landscape sectors, which are sharply different from each other due to height differentiation and structure, were separated: 1. Atachay-Tughchay; 2. Pirsaatchay-Sumgayitchay; 3. Girdimanchay-Agsuchay. It was determined that the spectra of natural terrain complexes, hypsometric levels, and tendencies of anthropogenic transformations in the high landscape sectors are different, and based on these calculations, map schemes and tables were drawn up. When examining the structural-genetic characteristics of the studied area, the strength of anthropogenic influences throughout history is clearly visible, considering that there are quite ancient settlements in the research area.

Soil is one of the important factors in the landscape, it is the most fertile layer of the Earth ... more Soil is one of the important factors in the landscape, it is the most fertile layer of the Earth and is estimated as one of the main elements for the development of agriculture. Due to the historical exploitation by different agricultural activities several areas have been impacted by the reduction of the fertile layer of soil covers. However, this problem has grown more recently. The intensification of development in the world, including in Azerbaijan and its regions has led to the loss of the original state of natural ecosystems and their components, changing the ecological environment. The latest variable of these components, but the greatest impact of the loss of fertility on the environment is soil cover. Ecological problems like decreased soil productivity, intensification of the erosion process, acceleration of degradation, and so on highlights the importance of a rational use of soil. Taking this into account the goal of this work was to analyze the importance and the sensitiveness of soil cover to accomplish a rational use as well as ways of protection in the Great Caucasus zone in Azerbaijan.
