Beetroot beta vulgaris is a natural root used as a vegetable, having many health potent benefits and nutraceutical cures, most prominent of them is lowering high blood pressure with the help of dietary nitrate in it.The present study was devised to analyze the beetroot powder hypotensive potential on hypertension. For this purpose characterization (proximate analysis, TPC and TFC) of beetroot powder was conducted as part of the study. And blood tests for sodium and potassium electrolytes were done before and after the study duration. Beetroot was obtained by the washing, peeling, and size-reduction, sun drying and grinding of beetroot. Results of proximate analysis of beetroot powder showed that beetroot powder contains 2.18% of protein, 70.42% of moisture, 8.25% of fiber, 5.06 % of ash, 4.00% of fat and 10.09% of nitrogen free extract....

This rice is also known as prohibited rice, emperor’s rice, and royal’s rice. Black rice is composed of different nutrients including fiber, protein, carbohydrates, potassium, and vitamin B complex. It contains an antioxidant called anthocyanin and tocopherols. Antioxidants are found mostly in foods that are black or dark purple. Due to its nutritious density, high fiber level, and high antioxidant content, black rice is a good alternative to white and brown rice. Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted in five administrative units of Pakistan, i.e., Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We obtained data from 2,865 university students between 17th January and 2nd February, 2021, using a semi-structured and self-administered questionnaire. OBJECTIVES While COVID-19 vaccine is on the train, this study aimed to understand belief, attitud... more OBJECTIVES While COVID-19 vaccine is on the train, this study aimed to understand belief, attitude, and intention to take the COVID-19 vaccine in South Asian region. METHODS The cross-sectional study was conducted among 18201 individuals in four South Asian countries; Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Nepal between January 17 and February 2, 2021 using semi-structured questionnaires. We have used the health belief model (HBM) to identify the predictors related to vaccine acceptance. STATA (v16.1) was used for all analyses. RESULTS The country wise percentage of participants willing to accept the COVID-19 vaccine was found 65%, 66%, 72%, and 74% in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Nepal, respectively, whereas destructive impact of COVID-19, positive conception regarding vaccines and the concern for possible side effects were found significant in modifying respondent's intention according to health belief model among the study population. After adjusting the variables age, sex, marital status, education, presence of comorbidities, worriness of getting affected, perceived COVID-19 impact, efficiency of vaccine, positive attitude of mandatory implication and availability were found associated with people's intention to take vaccine across different countries. CONCLUSION This study assessed the belief, attitude, and intention to take the COVID-19 vaccine along with associated factors.
Background:Searching the biomarker from complex heterogeneous material for early detection of dis... more Background:Searching the biomarker from complex heterogeneous material for early detection of disease is a challenging task in the field of biomedical sciences.Objective:The study has been arranged to explore the proteomics serum derived profiling of the differential expressed and low molecular weight protein in breast cancer patient.Methods:Quantitative proteome was analyzed using the Nano LC/Mass and Bioinformatics tool.Results:This quantification yields 239 total protein constituting 29% of differentially expressed protein, with 82% downregulated differential protein and 18% up-regulated differential protein. While 12% of total protein were found to be cancer inducing proteins.
