Night skates happen across the global skate community - they are a fun way to get out and meet other skaters. We checked out an amazing festival of lights called the Glow Festival in Eindhoven, a Dutch city. Filmed by Niels Groenendijk and featuring Rollerblade® skater, Sven Boekhorst and his friends, the Glow Fest features 24 installations by global artists.

CityExplorer Rotterdam | Episode 6

Considered The Netherlands' 'second city', Rotterdam was bombed flat during WWII and spent the following decades rebuilding. You won't find much classic Dutch medieval center here – as it was unfortunately swept away along with the other rubble and detritus of war. However, in its place is an architectural aesthetic that's unique in Europe, a progressive perpetual-motion approach to architecture that's clearly a result of the city's postwar, postmodern 'anything goes' philosophy.

CityExplorer Athens | Episode 7

While in Athens, in addition to the “must do” stops such as The Acropolis and Parthenon, the crew visited an old abandoned airport, which proved to be the perfect place to skate. Opened in 1938 and closed in 2001, Ellinikon International Airport was replaced by Athens International Airport that was built for the 2004 Summer Olympics Games.

CityExplorer Innsbruck | episode 4

Innsbruck, Austria, the only major city in the European Alps, is located in the western part of Austria and is the fifth most populated city in the country. It has a rich sports history as it was the host of the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympic games and was one of the host cities in the 2008 European Football Championships. This beautiful alpine destination, with its historical buildings, breathtaking scenery and snow-capped mountains, is one of the most wonderful places to visit in Europe.
