Gregory Schopen
Gregory Schopen adalah Profesor Studi Buddhis di Universitas California, Los Angeles. ia menerima gelar B.A. dengan mengambil jurusan sastra Amerika dari Black Hills State College, M.A dalam sejarah agama dari Universitas McMaster di Ontario, Kanada, dan Ph.D. dalam studi Asia Selatan dan Buddhisme dari Universitas Nasional Australia di Canberra. Tesis Ph.D-nya berjudul "Bhaisajyaguru-sutra dan Buddhisme Gilgit."[1]
