Patchwork Student Journal accepts student papers on any topic regarding English literature and culture, linguistics, translation studies and TEFL. All full-time or part-time BA and MA students have the right to submit the paper. We accepts papers written in any consistent variant of the English language. Aside from the regular annual publication of Patchwork, a topical issue is published yearly as well. The topical issue is based on the selection of papers that were originally presented at the Anglophonia Student Conference. The chosen papers undergo a double-blind review, in which the identities of both the author and the reviewer are not revealed. Each paper is reviewed by two reviewers who both have to agree on whether the paper meets the required academic standards and standards of the journal. The reviewers are obliged to keep all information regarding the submitted papers as privileged and confidential. They are also obliged to review the papers in an objective and professional manner, clearly and benevolently presenting their opinion and arguments. In case of plagiarism, they are required to report the issue to the editorial board. All submitted papers should be original in nature and the result of meticulous and detailed research by the author.
