Hennessey’s lengthy catalog of souped-up trucks and muscle cars is something to behold, and that same sense of awe applies to its rendered models. A couple of years ago, the Texas tuning shop unveiled its head-turning, horsepower-churning, conceptual Mammoth 6×6 truck to the delight of many auto enthusiasts. Now, this absolute beast of a pickup is officially being put into production.
The gargantuan new build measures nearly 7’ high and a bewildering 23.5’ long, serving as the largest truck ever assembled in Hennessey’s history. Sitting on 20” 10-spoke wheels wrapped in 37” off-road tires, the Mammoth 1000 6×6 TRX truck also features locking rear axles and a Bilstein suspension, coming together to provide an unparalleled off-roading experience.
While its size and stature tower over your average truck, its eye-popping specs remain even more impressive, as the truck boasts 1,012HP and 969LB-FT of torque, compared to a stock Dodge Ram TRX’s 702HP and 650LB-FT of torque. Its 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 engine is bolstered by a 2.65-liter supercharger and a high-flow induction system, paving the way for remarkable performance capabilities.
Although we are beyond excited to see that this 2-year-old announcement will finally be hitting the market, the trucks will be limited to a mere 12 annual builds, deeming the monster one of HPE’s more exclusive builds to date. Hennessey’s Mammoth 1000 6×6 TRX is priced starting from $449,950, which accounts for the cost of a base Ram TRX and the surfeit of modifications tacked on to it.
