Nako

A village in Himalayas of northern India in Trans Himalayan region of Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh. Nako Monastery is built in 11th century consists of four large halls in which oldest & largest is known as Dukhong. There are many number of Buddhist chortens. Nako is largest village at an elevation of 3,625 meters in Hangrang Valley.
