what is gear module in solidworks library

There are numbers of gear module in SolidWorks gear library.. i can not justify what are they.!
Please help me out if anyone can...

A module of 1 means that a 10 tooth gear has a working diameter of 10mm, a 12 tooth gear has a working diameter of 12mm etc
A module of 2 means that a 10 tooth gear has a working diameter of 20mm, a 12 tooth gear has a working diameter of 24mm etc

Yes, I meant 'Pitch Diameter'.

would you please explain me this from the attached image.. actualy I can't get the word "working diameter".
Is "working diameter" same as "Pitch Dia"..?
