Here is a more realistic postpartum recovery timeline 👇 Weeks 0-2 - Prioritize recovery - Release tension - Reconnect with your breath and pelvic floor Weeks 2-4 - Reconnect with your core - Reconnect with your hip musculature - Restore full body mobility Weeks 4-6 - Reconnect with your full body - Full body body weight or light resistance in the forms of bands Weeks 6-10 - Retrain your core, neuromuscular reeducation - Begin the rebuilding full body strength process focusing on low impact, simple strength training movements Weeks 10-12 - Potentially add in impact training in the form of landing - Progress rebuilding of full body strength - Increase emphasis on single leg strengthening
