Well this is completely brilliant. One of the most imaginative things I’ve heard in a while, worthy of being called beautifully weird. And dope, and clearly made by a mad genius.
BRAVO and thanks for inventing it.

completely absurd and potentially demonic process which involves using magnets(????) to make the tiny powder point in the right directions to play you the songs. somehow it doesnt come out sounding as shit as you would expect. completely mad, and might not be legal for much longer, because of woke

the name comes from a sharp bush with appealing yellow flowers. it defiantly grows on the top of a windy hill. do what you want.
"songs from the weaving shed" is panshawe russi's first LP under this new label. used to release under his name
drag, now no more.
the LP is exercising immediacy and vulnerability, through a cinematic lens that can be surprising and unusual. a dreamy exploration of longings, suspicions and intentions, subconsciousness during those years in the studio full of spools and looms; and note that "weaving hut". all yarn is good for acoustics, i said.
asked to elaborate on projected concepts and themes, gorse will explain: "i like playing around with my keyboards." he is uncomplicated. however, the album works as a close examination of his mind and into his closet, revealing hidden truths and the album bursts with new revelations and rabid representations. it sings on some of the tracks, with lyrics exploring acceptance and the fragility of success, but which is sometimes really about "dope". who could know?
on one side, "songs out of the weaving" is an alt-pop extravaganza full of ear worm, anthemic tunes, et al.
hell a lot of random tape whistling. finally, it's a small album of photos documenting a special time in gorse panshawe cottage and all the witless ideas it contained. not so for you, but for him. as you say, it would be very confusing if you didn't like it.

Just brilliant. The lush depths of this work gradually reveal themselves as you wander the fields with this on repeat in your ears. Thanks Peter.
