Orthonormality of vectors
If x and y are vectors in Rn, then x and y are orthogonal if they are perpendicular. Mathematically, they're defined to be orthogonal if ⟨x,y⟩=0, where ⟨x,y⟩=∑ni=1xiyi is the inner product.
