Sep 21, 2023 · Dr. Hayes grew up in California and attended the University of California, Berkeley where he received his B.A. in Physics in 1971.
Dr. Hayes is currently a Professor Emeritus at Georgia Tech and a Distinguished Foreign Professor at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea.
Dr. Hayes joined the faculty of George Mason University in the fall of 2014 as the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
