Description
For some projects, you need the least amount of hallucination possible. For example: my printer will only print 1200x1200dpi images if my resolution is high enough. When I want to print shipping labels for my small business, I do not want any kind of hallucination (0% or 5% hallucination). The information contains too much critical data (and text too, which is tricky). In other cases I want to upscayl an image without adding any kind of creativity too it. For example, a family photo of an important memory. Suddenly the trees get texture and details that they do not have in real life like in the original memory. Other family members notice. The background distracts too much. Here an option to limit hallucination to 50% would suitable. Still some room for creativity, but not too much deviation from the actual picture.
Several paid AI Upscalers like Magnific AI have a hallucination slider as well, but using these services will bankrupt me. I hope that Upscayl can eventually incorporate this feature. This would make its applications even more universal.
