I'm a software engineer that enjoys building mobile apps that help people help each other.
My full time job is building the mobile apps at Parsyl, a company whose products help reduce waste and increase quality of vital goods in the supply chain like medicine and food, even in traditionally underserved areas like remote parts of Africa.
In my free time, I enjoy working on other mobile app projects that enable people to make use of their phones/tablets and all of the cool things they can do. Right now, my free time is dedicated to a project called Positional, which is a free and open source Android app that lets people quickly and easily see their current location and all sorts of information related to it, e.g. speed, altitude, heading, bearing, and various stages of sunset/sunrise.
While I'm going to continue building Positional no matter what, sponsorship helps show me when Positional is important to folks and it motivates me to include and build the features that people want or need most.
