MonoGame
MonoGame is a simple and powerful .NET framework for creating games for desktop PCs, video game consoles, and mobile devices using the C# programming language. It has been successfully used to create games such as Streets of Rage 4, Carrion, Celeste, Stardew Valley, and many others.
The MonoGame Foundation is a US based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in September of 2023 to direct the future of the framework and promote game development education.
Our funding comes from individual and corporate donations and is used to drive improvements to the framework code, creation of educational resources, supporting community events, and general project infrastructure.
