A sketch for updating structs using a
swap
construct with pattern syntax.As a usage example, lets say we really don't like the Z-axis and want to rid all our lines of it:
As shown, it works with nested types and anonymous fields.
There are some issues with just using patterns as they are, for example, if we wanted to write
(+ 1 -1)
instead of0
, we can't do that yet because it is not pattern syntax.Let me know if you guys think this is worth investigating.
