Today’s Silly Gadget is the Color Coded Bread Ties!

Today’s GADGET is a THROW-BACK from my days as a kid! Do you ever remember being sent to the store to buy a loaf of bread and your MOTHER or GRANDMOTHER would say, “DON’T FORGET TO LOOK AT THE COLOR OF THE TWIST TAG ON THE BREAD! THIS TELLS WHAT DAY THE BREAD WAS MADE!” Don’t know about you but I remember that so well. Not so much today—I think I have to write down the colors that match the baking days. So for what it is worth, here is the COLOR CHART TO MATCH THE DAY THE BREAD IS BAKED!

MONDAY-BLUE
TUESDAY-GREEN
WEDNESDAY-NO BREAD IS BAKED
THURSDAY-RED
FRIDAY-WHITE
SATURDAY-YELLOW
