WB Marketing Style Guide Art, THE IRON GIANT. Tedious details to draw since I dislike using tools, and prefer drawing freehand whenever possible. Ironically, I was required to illustrate this character traditionally, by hand, even though it was animated with the aid of computers. I went for a simulated fish-eye lens distortion on the background to help increase the illusion of the Iron Giant's towering stature.

You know what was cool about Pacific Rim? All those giant mechs. You know what's cool about Hugo Martin, the guy who helped design those mechs? He's now working on Doom 4.

Revisiting and modernization of one of the cartoons that I loved most when I was a child :) Mazinger Z (Majinga Zetto,Tranzor Z in the United States) is a Japanese super robot manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai from 1972 to 1974 It was adapted into an anime television series which aired on Fuji TV from December 1972 to September 1974.
