Fun group prom photos

What a fun group. I really had fun shooting their prom pictures. These are some of my favorites.

These are some shots from the senior Prom. We decided to make some curtains as a option for the backdrop, instead of just the stars. Most people went with the curtains :) We offered a standard couple shot, group photos, all girls group photo, and a goofy shot. This is one of the goofy poses they wanted. Lighting: Elinchrom 600 w/ 74" octabank to above right of camera. Elinchrom 600 w/ 60" umbrella to camera left Elinchrom 400 w/ 30" silver umbrella behind subject on left (for hair light)…

It is Taylor's last high school prom. She will be valedictorian. Her longtime boyfriend, Conner, would bring her a beautiful bouquet that matches her dress. He is headed off to Carnegie Mellon next year. She is still making decisions and visiting Universities. Pictures of Taylor and her sister, Morgan, are in every room, on tables here and there. They were so precious to each other, happy for each other, proud of each other... sweet, well-mannered. I felt like I was crashing their pre-prom…
