We make our Glazed Square tiles by coating terracotta biscuits with a hand-mixed opaque glaze developed to match our colours. We use the waterfall method of glazing in which a stream of glaze falls onto the tile as it passes by below on a conveyor belt. The result is a gently undulating surface, and slight variation in depth of colour in parts.
