The only difference is that my clean up paper already has some layers of paint and and inks on it. The paper does not absorb the ink from the open areas and picks up only a certain amount. So in stead of getting a clean white tag with colorful leaves, the in between areas are also colored. This gives the effect of a pile of frosty leaves and I LOVE it! Isn’t it amazing what a difference the choice of pick up/cleaning paper makes for the end result?? What is your favorite? The rainbow leaves or the pile of frosty leaves? Please let me know in the comments! In this video I’m again using Spectrum Noir Harmony Quick-Dry Dye ink but you can also use Archi

How To Prepare An Image For Image Transfer Gel Printing

For this image transfer gel print, artist Michelle (@michelle_mixedmedia) first downloaded a free vintage image from the Graphics Fairy website. She digitally edited the image to change it to a black-and-white image and also increased the contrast. Michelle then double-printed the image. To do this, she prints once and then carefully places the paper back in the printer and prints again. This builds up the amount of toner on the page. Michelle used black acrylic paint for image transfer. She let it dry for a few minutes and then added some final colours to pull the print. #gelliarts #gelplate #gelprintingkit #printingplate #monoprinting #printmaking #gelprinting #gelliplate #imagetransfer
