Painting a fabric chair
How to paint the fabric on a chair👇🏼 (you’ll want to save this) 1. Vacuum. 2. Prime surface…especially areas that look like they’re soiled (I use @dixiebellepaint B.O.S.S. Gray). 🖌 3. Paint the fabric in a single base coat of chalk mineral paint in a light color, using a very light mist of water so your paint will brush on easily. 💦 Once it’s dry, lightly sand it with a sanding sponge & dust away the residue. 🧹Repeat if another coat is needed. 4. Sketch the design you want to draw. ✏️ 5. Paint the background, then sand and clean again once it’s dry. 6. Paint the main design. 🎨 7. Apply any transfer embellishments if you plan to use them. I ONLY use transfers on the chair backs….never on the seat cushion. 👩‍🎨 8. Burnish any applied transfers and sand your final art with
