George R.R. Martin's best-selling book series "A Song of Ice & Fire" is brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the Medieval Fantasy Epic. It's the depiction of 2 powerful families- Kings & Queens, Knights & Renegades, Lairs & Honest Men, playing a deadly game of control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros & to sit atop the Iron Throne. Martin is credited as a co-executive producer & one of the writers for the series, which was filmed in Northern Ireland & Malta. There are so many interesting characters- the Imp, Lady Melisandre, the Mother of Dragons, the King, the Many Faced Gods, the White Walkers, the Men from the Nights Watch, the Dothraki, the Starks, Holdor, the Three-eyed Raven & you can't forget Jon Snow plus 3 dragons. Quotes that will always be remembered are "You know Nothing Jon Snow" & "Hold the Door". This production from HBO spanned 10 years of cast interaction and filming and the final episode aired on Monday 20-05-2019, the epic saga has now ended leaving everyone alone to face their future and the audience feeling sad that it has finally ended.
