Many couples find listening to the Christian Hypnobirthing tracks together as they go to sleep really helpful, as it not only anchors in that deep relaxation, but can also help Dad to memorize some useful phrases to support and encourage Mom during labor. You may also want to try listening to the tracks while practicing these partner assisted labor positions, to help get that muscle memory, so you can do them easily during labor 🥰 📝 Note these down to try with your birth partner: - Slow da...

M+J Thrifts | Minimal Thrifted Finds for Kids on Instagram: "The answer is… Way less than you think! Newborns can get by with mostly just pajamas and onesies and you’re probably not going to have the energy to put them in anything more than that. When determining how much you need for newborn and 0-3 months, I suggest starting with a color base (warm or cool) and your laundry habits. I’m a once every 10 days or so laundry person so here’s what I went with: -10 onesies (varying sleeves depending on temp) -5 pants/bottoms (I had spring/summer babies and they are on you or swaddled almost constantly so I rarely used bottoms) -5 pajamas + 2-3 swaddle/sleep sacks (rewear if not soiled!) -5 one piece “outfits” -2-3 sleep gowns for early days of snuggles and lots of diaper changes -1 sweate
JULES | frugal & intentional motherhood on Instagram: "Stay tuned to see how this holds up through toddlerhood 😂, but I’m pretty excited about this hack! My husband was looking into baby-proofing solutions and found this somewhere on the internet. We already had these velcro strips in the house so decided to give it a try and WOW 🤩 This is the perfect solution to baby proofing without ugly plastic parts everywhere!! 😍 You can also leave your cupboards closed but not fully adhered to the velcro for easy opening when your little troublemaker isn’t around! Send this to someone who needs this baby-proofing solution in their life!! 🙌🏼 #budgetmom #budgethome #parentinghacks #momhacks #newmama #babyproofing #minimalisthome #frugalmom"
Liz Haselmayer on Instagram: "You don’t have to create a “womb like environment” for your baby to sleep. In fact, leaving your baby’s arms out can actually be beneficial for their development. We think a tight arms-in swaddle is helpful because it suppresses baby’s startle reflex but what it’s actually doing is allowing them to RETAIN their startle reflex. Babies who have their arms free “grow out” of their startle reflex SOONER. There are ways to support baby’s sleep that don’t involve tight swaddles, blackout curtains, or sound machines. Here are some sleep support alternatives that have worked well for us: -free movement during wake times. Letting baby kick around on a blanket instead of setting them in a swing or bouncer really optimizes baby’s neurodevelopment during those sh
