143K views · 4.7K reactions | gold ochre painting | This is take number 2 at using gold ochre. this one turned out soo pretty! I love how the gold shines. | By MollysArtistry | This is try number two at a color that I don't normally use and that is gold ochre. If you saw my previous post on this color, the gold ochre got a little bit lost and I wanted to kind of make it a star of the painting. I wanted it to show up more. So, I layered larger layers and more of it in the cup and I left out the bright yellow so that I wouldn't have as much green in this painting. I layered a lot more of the gold ochre and a lot more of the gold. I am going to do a straight pour again this time and I made my paints just a little bit thicker as well. So, I'm getting the design started. You can see how thick the paints are coming out of the cup and moving your cup around just a little bit will help you create some really interesting designs in the straight pour. I wanted to take care and get those last little bits of paint out of the cup and it really helped create a beautiful design in the center. So I got a little bit of green. But not much and that is just from the gold and the yellow ochre mixing or the gold ochre mixing with the blue. Now I'm going to stretch this one out and I'm already much more pleased with this one than the last one that I did. I can definitely see a big stripe of the gold ochre in the painting. Stretching this one to the corners and I definitely didn't want to lose that beautiful center. The gold really came through on this painting and I love how it shines and I'll show you in the final result. As the paints were much thicker, it does take longer for the paint to reach the side. And I wanted to get my beautiful center right back over to the side. I chose to do this one a little bit off center as well. I absolutely love this one. I love how it dried. The colors are beautiful. There's those tiny pops of gold ochre throughout and I'm so excited that I decided to use this color off of my shelf. Experimenting with color is one of the most fun things that you can do with art in general. Love how this one came out. I hope that you do too. Happy painting.

230K views · 7.9K reactions | blue diptych | This gorgeous blue color was made from my left over blue paints! Such a pretty color combination in a unique design! | By MollysArtistry | This is such a pretty color scheme. I am using a blue that I made myself out of a bunch of different leftover blues that I had. I am using just paint and water for these. The brand of paint is Amsterdam and this painting I really wanted to create a different type of design. So after I blow out this base you'll see I'm going to use the same colors but on one side I'm going to do a side design and on the other I'll do them in a puddle. And I wanted them to look like they went together but could be separate and beautiful in their own right. I'm using a beautiful magenta a white to kind of lighten and brighten up the colors. Gold lime green which always goes so beautifully with the purples and magentas. I'm using a violet color, a dark panes grey pressure blue, and a little bit more white on top to brighten things up. A touch of sky blue and silver. You can let me know which side is your favorite. I think the side design side is very very pretty. But they both go so well together. So I'm taking that same color combination and the same layers and I'm going to puddle these right on top of each other. These will blend a little bit more this way. And I'm using the white to really lighten up some of the darker colors. So you'll see the violet and the blue. I added the white in between them. And the light blue on top. Now just a little bit more white and a little bit of silver and we are ready to go. Gotta get every last drop of that silver on there. So I like to blow in different directions to give the feel of movement in the painting. It's something I really truly love about fluid art. Now working on the puddle side. This one I wanted to look like a flower or petals of a flower floating upward. And you can see the two sides do really look like they flowed together. This color combination was super fun to work with and especially on that beautiful blue base. Now, just a little bit more for some finger touches, some little touch ups, adding some extra details to it and this painting is done. You can see how bright and beautiful those colors are. The lime green played so well with the purple and with the blue and with the gold. The magenta is just in all the right places and there are small pops of color against the blue background. This side with the side design I absolutely love. And here it is dry. It dried a lot darker and the green with the gold turned into an almost olive green but up close you can see how beautiful those colors are. It was super fun using two very similar techniques but in different designs on each canvas. There's that magenta and that purple again and that blue base. I could never make it again if I tried. Absolutely beautiful. Hope you enjoyed.

197K views · 5.4K reactions | cool pearlescent paintings | Here are a few more unique designs made with pearlescent paints. The appear as the paint dries! | By MollysArtistry | This is round two of some of my favorite pearlescent paintings. This one I'm starting with ring pores and I decided to do one with the lighter side and one with the darker side. And I wanted to see how the pearls would react on both of those. The pearlescent paints react like interference paints and they are pigments that are suspended within a binder and once they dry, your eye visualizes those pigments and they look like beautiful metallic colors. So I decided to go ahead and pour the puddles over top of these rectring pores. And from there I'm going to wreck it again and it's going to create this beautiful gradient background with these big bold pops of color. This again is really combining a lot of different techniques together. And it can create some amazingly intricate paintings. So going back through and wrecking these again. These are creating the beautiful pops of color that look like flowers or leaves that have fallen off the tree. Now, it's time to tilt and as I do, you'll see around the edges the color starting to come through. I love this one so much. It added so much extra interest to have those ring pores at the beginning. The shine on it is amazing and you can see the beautiful gradient. Super cool. This last one is going to be erect ringpour. And this one got so interesting as I started to run the stick through the painting. So in that cup I had all kinds of pearlescent colors layered together. And now I'm really just creating the design. You can create all different types of designs. In all different directions and I wanted this one to just be super cool with lots of different lines for interest. The pearlescent paints I like them because sometimes it's a little bit of a surprise where the colors are going to be. Because they all look so similar before they dry. I love the details in this one. Your eye really starts in a corner and flows its way around. Tracing all the lines and look at how many colors are in each section. I was so happy with how this one came out. Hope you enjoy. Happy painting.

Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting! | By MollysArtistry | Alright, this is it. This is the third painting I have done with this technique. If you saw my other two and they're on my Facebook page, I started this journey with these four-foot-by-four-foot paintings for a client and I just couldn't quite get the colors right or the design. So, this time, we decided to stick with Ocean Bloobes. My paints are mixed with pouring medium and I used a ton of paint and a ton of medium to make this four foot by four foot painting. Popping any air bubbles and then I'm going to stretch this out just slightly to cover the canvas a little bit more and then I'm going to swipe with Australian flow troll mixed with white paint So, that's my white paint with Australian Flow Troll Mixed and as I swipe through it, you can see the cells start to pop up. It took quite some time to figure out where I wanted to swipe because you have to try to decide what the painting is going to look like before it's finished and with fluid art that can be difficult sometimes to create an idea from your head and actually get it to translate out on camera. I actually love that little swipeline that I did. So now, it's time for my husband to come on and help me tilt this gigantic canvas. He was so helpful and supportive during this whole process. You. I ended up using more paint than I needed because I knew that I would want to stretch this out to be the way that I wanted it to look and you can see how cool the lacing and cells are in this and combined with the extra lines from the ring pour. I was really satisfied with how this painting finally turned out after a journey of three paintings. And there it is. You can see it dried really well. The lines are super cool. I love the lacing in it.

552K views · 10K reactions | Fluorescent Pink Is Amazing in the Acrylic Pouring Swipe Technique | This Fluorescent Pink is Sooo Pretty! This is a diptych (2-canvas) acrylic painting. I can not wait to see this under blacklight! This is my new favorite... | By MollysArtistry | I am so excited because I have found my new favorite color combination, fluorescent pink, and aqua green. I absolutely love it. The base color is a panes gray by Creative Inspirations. It's this beautiful dark blue color. And then I'm using a little bit of copper and a little bit of a metallic blue. I cannot wait to show you this end result. I personally think it's stunning. So I'm adding my colors down and then I'm going to swipe across. I originally thought maybe I should swipe across both canvases but I decided to swipe them each individually and to have them hopefully still go together. Look at those beautiful cells start to pop up. I have been enjoying swiping so much lately. It gives such amazing results. If you're working with smaller palette knives, you can't swipe little sections like I'm doing here. You don't have to have a very large palette knife to swipe the entire thing. I personally think it gives more interest to swipe in small pieces. I'm adding just a little bit more paint to the edges so that I won't lose my design over the edge and instead it will be the blue negative space. I absolutely love the colors and love the lacing as it's stretching out. I think in my studio, I even let out a little squeak of excited happiness. And if you wait to see how they dry, they dry much darker. It is a striking effect. Take your time when you are stretching these paintings out. There is no need to rush this part. Get the design exactly how you want it. Look at these colors and this lacing and the tiny little bit of copper just really brought this painting to life. The fluorescent pink is one of my new favorite colors. And that turquoise green is stunning but look at how dark that blue dried, almost black. The copper, I call it copper bronze because it's a mixture. Gives such a beautiful shine to it. This painting made me happy. I hope it does you too. Thank you so much for following along my journey. I appreciate you all. Hope that you enjoyed the video. Happy painting.
