Stephen Thomas Erlewine de AllMusic considère la compilation (dans son édition américaine) comme une bonne introduction à la carrière prolifique de Stevie Wonder, regrettant toutefois qu'elle omette Fingertips Part 2 et qu'elle ne présente pas les titres dans l'ordre chronologique^[21].
