Le John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts (ou Kennedy Center), est une salle de spectacle située le long du Potomac, près de l'hôtel du Watergate à Washington DC, aux États-Unis. Le centre ouvrit ses portes en 1971 et fut dessiné par l'architecte Edward Durell Stone. Sa construction, qui commença en 1964, coûta au total 70 millions de dollars. Le premier spectacle fut donné le 5 septembre 1971 : il s'agissait d'une première d'une œuvre de Leonard Bernstein, Mass. Le Kennedy Center possède plusieurs salles dédiées à différents spectacles : le concert hall compte 2 442 places et accueille le National Symphony Orchestra. L'Opera House comporte 2 300 sièges et abrite le Washington National Opera. L'Eisenhower Theater peut accueillir 1 100 spectateurs.
