Pinched Pottery on Instagram: "4oz pinched cups in espresso. I named this clay “espresso”, it’s actually a mix of 3 different brown clays that I loved but unfortunately discontinued. I also added in coarse grog as well. Started with a ball of clay about 220-230g and as always, rough shaped them first then let them dry until they are firm enough to be handled without losing their shape to do the final shaping/pinching. I didn’t need any tools for these. Raw inside and out - fired twice, bisque fired at cone 04 then glazed fired at cone 6 without any glazes on. Sealed with @liquid_quartz_sealer. Full making videos are saved on story highlights. . . . . . #stoneware #darkclay #pinchpot #handbuiltpottery #handmademug #handbuilding #ceramiclove #rustic #ceramics #tableware #ceramiccup #pinc Hand Pinched Pottery, Handbuilding Pottery Ideas Pinch Pots, Ceramic Pinch Pots Ideas, Hand Built Cups, Pinch Mug Pottery, Pinch Cups Ceramics, Ceramic Hand Built Mugs, Pinch Pot Mug, Pinch Mug

Anita Gadzinska on Instagram: "Working a spoon on a pinch pot is my current favorite thing in pottery. There's nothing more satisfying! I don't have the patience to wait for the clay to dry so it's all floppy and definitely harder to work with than it probably should be. However, I only had a bit of energy left after a busy day so we gotta do what we gotta do xD #slowart #ceramics #pinchpots #mushroomart" Pinching Clay Ideas, Handbuilding Pottery Ideas Pinch Pots, Pottery Glass Ideas, Air Dry Clay Pinch Pots, Hand Built Bowl, Easy Pinch Pot Ideas Clay, Pinch Pot Bowl, Ceramics Beginners, Hand Thrown Pottery Ideas

Pinched Pottery on Instagram: "7” in diameter 2” deep coiled/pinched bowl. Made with mid fire dark stoneware clay and glazed with matte green/sage glaze. Started with a ball of clay and added a few coils. I don’t use water or slip when coiling - clay has to be quite soft to be able to blend in well without water/slip. I always rough shape them first, let them dry until they are firm enough to be handled without losing their shape to do the final shaping/pinching.
