1M views · 15K reactions | a neck hump is a visible sign of unaddressed stress / emotional trauma, but it’s 100% fixable 👇🏼 when you experience long term stress / trauma, your... | By The Workout Witch | Ready to fix your neck hump? Let's go. So your neck hump is back here. Start laying down on your back. You're going to have your ankles hip width apart, knees facing straight up towards the ceiling, arms open wide with your palms facing up. From here, you're going to bend your elbows and bring your fingers so they're back facing the wall behind you so you're making 290 degree angles with your arms and you're going to lift your fingers up, keeping your back nice and and you're going to let it fall down, backs of the hands fall down, and lift back up. We're going to do a different variation. You're going to take your left hand and you're going to bring it back behind you and your right hand is going to fall down next to you. So one hand's going up. One hand's going down. Your head's going to look to your left. And then we're going to bring everything back up through the middle. So your head now is going to go over to your right. Your right back of your hand is going to come up behind you and your left hand is going to go down. And come back up. We'll do that one more time each side. Head goes to your left. Left hand falls back. Right hand presses down nice and calm. And then you're going to come back up. Wanna shift over to your right. Right back of your hand is falling down.

▫️Comment MORNING and I will message you my 4-step morning routine ▫️ And if you have been following along, Beat the Burnout doors are open now - Monday) Why a morning routine? Because what we do in the morning can affect our cortisol diurnal rhythm. By setting ourselves up well for the day, our nervous system can better take on daily stressors. When our body is stuck in fight-flight-stressed state, this is called our sympathetic nervous system, cortisol is fired up. It can become difficult to fall asleep, and we may notice other things occurring like: ▫️ clenched muscles like jaw, hands, legs ▫️ trex hands — protective reflex that does become comfy, but a small way our nervous system is telling us “help!” ▫️ Sympathetic overload — needing a blanket between legs, things like ankles/knees CAN’T touch ▫️ Rubbing or tapping feet — a way to soothe a overstimulated nervous system What we can do is help our nervous system and body feel safe, and cue that we are no longer under stress. We can do this through specific curated movements such as: ▫️ physiological sigh: two short inhales through the nose, and one long exhale through the mouth ▫️ rocking: this can help decrease micro-arousals ▫️ Somatic Series: see my post from 1/7 “somatic series” 🔴 READ THIS ⬇️ Regulation isn’t about mentally “pushing through” or convincing your mind you’re safe—it’s about teaching your body to feel safe first, and that’s exactly what Beat the Burnout is designed to help with. The beauty of somatic/vagal toning work is that it bypasses the need for your mind to lead the process. Instead of mentally forcing yourself to calm down, you can lean into the simple, gentle exercises that signal safety to your body. When your body begins to feel safe, your mind often follows. We can also help set ourselves up for better sleep through a good, quality morning routine! ➡️Comment MORNING and I will message you my 4-step morning routine ➡️ And unlock access to Beat the Burnout: vagal toning + cortisol reset (doors close Monday) (Informational and educational) | Dr. Lindsey Schmidt

68K views · 5.8K reactions | It's common to have hip muscles that are tight and weak. Tightness and weakness can go together because muscles that are sticky don't lengthen and contract well (what's needed for a muscle like this to get stronger). I love this mini band set for this move and so many others. ⁣ Comment BAND if you need the link for it🙏🏼 | Mandy Froehlich

But here’s something fascinating: your right and left sides drain differently! 💧 The right side of your body (right arm, chest, and head) drains into the right lymphatic duct. 💯 the left side (including your legs and most of your trunk) drains into the thoracic duct—the main detox highway of your lymphatic system. When this system gets sluggish, it can lead to inflammation, fatigue, and even hormonal imbalances. Supporting your lymphatic flow is KEY to overall wellness, balanced hormones and kicking off your 2025 detox. ✨ Here are a few ways to love your lymph: ✔️ Dry brushing ✔️ Movement (even light bouncing!) ✔️ Staying hydrated ✔️ Gentle massage Your body wants to heal and detox—let’s give it the support it needs! 🙏🏾 Tag a friend who needs a little lymph love today! 💧 | Dr. Lj | Hormone Doctor | Wholistic Endo Expert
