If they open up a Chinese restaurant and use the word Lotus before every meals name, they could possibly make a buck, other than that, it won’t work for them or they will be forced to file for bankruptcy, if the Chinese decide to dump them and let them drown and be forgotten like Oldsmobile and Pontiac.

The factory has officially announced the Evija's top speed as 218 mph (350 km/h)

On the bright side, they also say that it can charge to 80% in 12 minutes and 100% in 18. The car is also designed to accept must faster chargers than are currently available, up to 800kW.

Portugal within the last week. Portimão GP Circuit plus first road test drives for the Lotus Evija.
Plus the attending clients and guests were also given privileged access to a currently unknown confidential special project not yet formally announced to the media, apparently.
So yeah I'll keep breaking news whilst trolls comment useless bollocks everywhere, LOL!
Smh.

Originally Lotus said the car was going to only have a 69kwh battery and weigh 1680kg for "maximum" attack. I was super vocal about how dumb it is to have a 2000hp car with a "fuel tank" that's smaller than the average Tesla family car, when the family car is to be used efficiently for daily driving, while the Evija is supposed to be used for spirited driving...
Well the car now has a 35% larger battery and added 200+kg. It's still lighter than the Nevera, but at least it makes a lot more sense. 93kwh isn't a huge amount, but it'll make a huge difference when you factor usually there is a few kwh that you can't use 69kwh was way too little.
