It may not be Derry but it will have to do! Saoirse-Monica Jackson's soon-to-be hubby Hector Barbour, who is better known by his stage name Denis Sulta, is set to play three Irish gigs in February.
The Scottish DJ is set to return to Ireland, which he has called one of his 'favourite places on the planet'... a comment his fiancée is sure to be chuffed with!
The artist is set to perform three gigs in a jam-packed three days. He will hit Galway on February 26 and head to Limerick the following night before playing at Index in Dublin on Friday 28.
Saoirse-Monica has clearly taught her love a little Irish lingo as he started off his announcement by asking fans 'what's the craic?'
'IRELAND, What’s the craic?' he said. 'I’m coming back to one of my favourite places on the planet this February. Three dates, three special shows. I cannot wait to see you all x.'
Hector's Irish fans were thrilled to hear news of his return. 'Yes brother,' one fan said, while another wrote: 'Go on mate.' 'Come onnnnn,' a third person said.
Saoirse-Monica and Hector got engaged in 2023. True to her gas onscreen character, the Derry Girls alum broke the news in dramatic fashion when her now fiancé blurted out their happy news during an interview and she reposted it online.
During a sit-down with Metal Magazine, Denis was asked what his best memory of 2023 was and sweetly replied: 'The day I proposed to my fiancée Saoirse.'
The actress previously opened up about their wedding plans, telling Cosmopolitan: 'We’re planning our wedding at the moment. I have a ginormous family. He’s so down for a big wedding, but I don’t want to spend the day feeling anxious that I haven’t got round to everybody.'
We can't wait to hear more about their special day!
