Moss tapestry

Alexandra Kehayoglou was born into Argentina's first family of rugmakers. The 34-year-old artist started making unique, moss-like carpets after finishing art school in 2008. Kehayoglou uses scraps and threads from her family's Buenos Aires factory, taking up to two months to create one piece; some even resemble paintings.

Through April 29, Tapestry Weavers South is exhibiting more than 50 handcrafted fiber works in the Folk Art Center’s Main Gallery.

this took a lot of time but is was so much fun to do I could not stop the photo is not so very good it is to red . the first part of the garden is finished it wil take sometime to do the other parts I did many different stitches more than is use to I am very pleased with the result of it but I like to now what you think
