"As a freshman in high school, I knew I wanted to study Space Physics at Embry-Riddle and eventually pursue a doctorate degree in the field. I've been drawn to science since I was a little kid. When I was seven, I asked for a microscope and a lab coat for Christmas! As I got older, I found my calling in astronomy and astrophysics and I've never looked back!"

Rise and Shine!

"I've come to love my morning routine! It gives me a chance to enjoy some peace and quiet and prepare for my day. The highlight of my mornings is easily my daily cup of coffee — it's the first thing on my mind when I wake up. For breakfast, I scramble some eggs with a side of toast and fruit."

Off to Class!

"My favorite classes at Embry-Riddle have been my physics laboratory classes! During physics labs, you run experiments testing the various concepts you've learned in lecture courses. We've measured the fundamental charge of an electron, created and observed interference in sound waves, calculated the rotation of the Earth and more!"

Studying Space

The Space Physics program allows students to explore studies of the Earth-Sun environment, exoplanets, aurorae, atmospheric sciences and so much more!

"I'm the Editor in Chief of Horizons, Embry-Riddle Prescott's newspaper. We release issue every two weeks covering student life, campus news, local events and anything else our readers might find interesting! My staff are passionate, creative and hardworking. Leading this team has allowed me to make friends I might have never met otherwise! Horizons is one of my favorite things about Embry-Riddle; getting to amplify campus voices has been a pleasure."

Study Break

"My favorite place on campus is easily Hazy Library! It's where many students hang out and study in between classes, so my friends and I will grab a table and fluctuate between getting our work done and just hanging out. When I need to study alone, I reserve one of the study rooms upstairs so I can work without distractions. The library also has Scholar's Café, which is a saving grace when I need an extra cup of coffee or snack!"

Prioritizing Inclusion

"This year, I helped found the Embry-Riddle American Sign Language (ASL) Club and became the Vice President. During our weekly meetings, we play games, learn about Deaf and Hard of Hearing culture, and ultimately learn sign language!"

Outstanding Orgs

The ASL Club was chosen as the Outstanding New Student Organization of the Year by the Prescott Campus' Student Government Association.

Finding Fun

"Prescott might be a smaller town, but there is so much to do! I've enjoyed setting up camp for the night in the surrounding area and de-stressing at Willow Lake. Phoenix, Sedona, the Grand Canyon and more are well within driving distance, and I've loved getting to explore different parts of Arizona! But one of my very favorite spots is the IHOP in Prescott Valley. It's open 24/7 and is the perfect place for a late-night study session over pancakes!"
