About
The Argentinean Friends of TAU (AUTA) are proud to be associated with the scientific achievements of Tel Aviv University, Israel's leading institution of higher learning. Since 1980, the Association has been working to establish close ties with the academic, scientific, cultural and economic sectors of Argentinean society and promote awareness of the University in these circles.
The Association organizes numerous academic activities including conferences, symposia and public lectures featuring TAU scholars who visit Argentina. These activities have become the basis for cooperation and the exchange of ideas, students and faculty between TAU and leading Argentinean academic institutions, as well as the Jewish community organizations in Argentina.
The Association organizes cultural events involving faculty and students of TAU, in particular from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and publicizes articles on scholarly developments at TAU in the sciences and humanities.
