cotranslation (countable and uncountable, plural cotranslations)

  1. The joint translation of a work from one language to another by more than one person.
  2. (mathematics) An equivalence map that is the dual of a translation.
  3. (genetics) The process by which multiple ribosomes simultaneously translate a single mRNA molecule into multiple copies of the same protein.
