Marfa light (plural Marfa lights)

  1. Any of a set of "ghost lights" observed near Route 67 on Mitchell Flat east of Marfa, Texas, United States, sometimes ascribed to paranormal phenomena, but scientifically explained as atmospheric reflections of automobile headlights and campfires.
