-enje (Cyrillic spelling -ење)

1. Suffix appended to verb roots to create a neuter verbal noun denoting an action or the result of an action. Analogous to English gerund suffix -ing.

   let(j)eti (“to fly”) → letenje (“(the act of) flying”).
