Wasn't there a young man 'reading law' in Perry's office for a time? Called 'David'? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CF99:2080:9996:A1A5:EA65:4341 (talk) 22:15, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
The character name is David Gideon as played by Karl Held. IMDB ( https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0125998/ ) lists him in 9 episodes as this character starting with "The Case of the Grumbling Grandfather" (S04E27) where he is the grandson who expresses interest to read in the Mason law library at the end of the episode. His second episode is "The Case of the Missing Melody" (S05E03) where he meets Perry and Della at a wedding. When Perry asks, Della remembers him as the eager aspiring lawyer who wanted to read in their library. In this episode Perry reviews a brief that David wrote and indicated that he did not have a case and should re-read the example given.Keeline (talk) 02:13, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
