Technomage Elric

The detail about the character of the Technomage Elric in the penultimate paragraph is not in keeping with the rest of the article, as it gets into discussing the significant of the character, as opposed to the focus of the article, which should be the biographical subject and the roles he played. • Well, I sorta agree, but think a line or two about the character is fine, but agree that it is too long. The stuff about the books has nothing to do with Ansara, and I'll remove it now, and see if it flies or if a fanboy puts it back in. Sir Rhosis (talk) 12:28, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Daniel Boone

I just watched a 1966 episode of Daniel Boone featuring Ansara as a hot-headed Shawnee named Red Sky. I'll have to see if I can find an episode directory somewhere to back up the credits I saw.

Also, I met his nephew at Fort Dix, who gave a different version of how Ansara's son died. I'll search for authoritative on-line sources to either corroborate or change the account here. LTC David J. Cormier (talk) 20:05, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

The edits so far look good to me. An improvement. —Aladdin Sane (talk) 21:17, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Improving references

Seems to me that the Star Trek Encyclopedia could be used as a reference for the Star Trek related info, which would improve the overall reference quality. I would do it myself, but my copy is stuck at the bottom of a moving box and I'm stuck with a massive ankle sprain. If nobody gets to it before I unpack, I'll come back. Four Star Trek series

Jonathan Frakes was in 4 Star Trek series. In addition to being in TNG, Voyager, and Enterprise, he was also in DS9. Even though he played Thomas Riker, William Riker's doppleganger, the latter was impersonating the former in the show so it should be clarified that Frakes was in 4 Star Trek series.66.30.105.70 (talk) 04:09, 27 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ethnicity

Syrian is a nationality, not an ethnicity. There are many ethnic groups in Syria. Anyone have more information? — Preceding unsigned comment added by American In Brazil (talkcontribs) 00:08, 27 May 2013‎ (UTC)Reply

Some source say he was of Lebanese extraction. — QuicksilverT @ 15:47, 3 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

He was Lebanese. His ex wife Barbara mentions this in her biography. And his ethnicity is Arab. [1] 101PoliSci101 (talk) 10:15, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Parentage and place of birth

The article currently says he was born in "a small village" in Syria. Can anyone come up with the name of the place, if it still exists? Also, the article says his parents "emigrated to the United States", but some sources say he was born of American parents. Which is it? Moreover, if his parents were United States citizens, he would have been an "American born abroad". — QuicksilverT @ 15:47, 3 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

According to Barbara Eden's biography, her direct statement was that he was born in a small village in Lebanon. Not Syria. His parents became U.S. citizens, as did he. [1] 101PoliSci101 (talk) 10:18, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Additional information, Michael Ansara was Lebanese, and had a cousin named Michael Ansara, also Lebanese. [2] 101PoliSci101 (talk) 10:47, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Major Role, as Main Villain, in First Episode of The Last of the Mohicans TV Series

Just learned of a 1957 TV series, Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans, so I headed over to Youtube to check out if they have any episodes. It turns out that Ansara appears in the very first episode, HAWKEYE'S HOMECOMING S1E1 youtu.be/iNJx3p2rbRY. Even though he has one of the top roles — he plays no less than the main villain — his part is not on his Wikipedia page. That has now been corrected… Asteriks (talk) 22:58, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

People article cited for son's death

The link no longer works. I found this very brief article but it has a different title so I don't know if it was the same one that is currently cited in the article. Poeple also has this article dated October 6, 2021. —71.105.198.152 (talk) 06:49, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
