The source is completely wrong for 4th place movie Kaththi. There is no relation between given source and movie. Remove that movie. Find that editor who added wrong information and ban that user by editing wiki articles.

Please change Thuppakki 125 crore to 180crore Thuppakki collected 180c at the box office. here is the source from Eros - Eros international earnings file. http://www.erosintl.com/EROS/media/Images/Eros-International-Q3FY13-earnings-release.pdf?ext=.pdf (page no.4) and Times of India too stated this news on their website http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/tamil/movies/news/Vijays-Thuppakki-makes-180-crore/articleshow/18691254.cms Even the producer of the movie has said the movie has collected 187c. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CTpy2sjerM (0.58)

please do correct it, this misleads many.

Why? S Thanu estimated the worldwide collections to be 125 crore. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:23, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Not done: For any movie claim by a producer has more value than a distributor..Usually producers wont reveal the exact gross..In this case he revealed it and it holds a value. MeeGhaMan (talk) 07:40, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please Change Arrambam to "Thalaivaa because Thailivaa(Film) has grossed more than Arrambam(film)

Source :www.ibtimes.co.in/039thalaivaa039-box-office-collection-has-vijay-starrer-earned-144-crore-at-bo-501131 (The Same Source you have given to Vishwaroopam)

Gladwin12 (talk) 07:18, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Meeghaman, can you do something about this? Kailash29792 (talk) 07:27, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Not done: I believe the gross given in the link is just reporting the various claims about Thalaiva..Since in the same link it mentioned that "however, the box office reports published by several websites are not credible"..So IBTimes in this case played it safe, and they itself don't claim it to be true. Please remove Mankatha from the list. The source given for it is Behindwoods, there they have told that it is said by Sun Pictures in Twitter. What the truth is, it was a tweeted by a fake account. Here they have compiled everything regarding this on that time itself. http://www.moviecrow.com/News/481/7-easy-steps-to-creating-box-office-numbers ..Check this, and it had(Sunpictures_)as account name before, (in the link) but its not there in real now.

Just wondering how the film made 130c, If then it must be atleast in Biggest opening day/week record which should exist til now.. The radanmeadia head (distributor of Mankatha) Radikasarathkumar has said the film earned 45 crores. ( https://twitter.com/realradikaa/status/126643649193840642 ) 45 crores totally not possible worldwide but she would have said about total Tamil Nadu collections. If only 45 crores in Tamil Nadu how it collected 85 crores from other territories?! Half and more than the total collection comes only from home place Tamil Nadu. something wrong in the source, I would request you to do the needful.

Done Since, the tweet that claimed mankatha's overall collection is not available in Official Twitter account of Sunpictures it is believed to be created by a parody account..So, it has all grounds to be removed from List of Highest grossing Tamil movies.Though Behindwoods considered to be reliable, but it need not be reliable always!

P.S: I have not considered Radhika's tweet for this decision as she is not a Worldwide Distributor for this film MeeGhaMan (talk) 17:42, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
